Deliverable 8.1 – Project Website & Branding

The deliverable D8.1 – “Project Page, Branding” has been published by the European project EnduRAI under the Horizon Europe programme of the European Commission (grant agreement No. 101294228).

D8.1 is part of Work Package 8 – dissemination, exploitation and policy impact, and is related to tasks T8.1 to T8.4. This document had a very early due date (month 3 of the project)

The document’s purpose is to explain the development of the brand book and the design and launch of the project’s public website, and to describe how the brand elements (logo, colour palette, typography, and templates) have been applied consistently throughout the project website and other communication channels to develop a clear and recognisable brand.

Visual identity

Full colour, mono, reverse, horizontal and stacked, the EnduRAI logo is available in various forms to remain legible on official documents, presentations, digital platforms and printed material. This is complemented by a distinctive colour palette and typography, as a whole creating the project’s brand book (a common toolbox that enables each member of the consortium to communicate EnduRAI in the same way at events, in publications and on the web).

The deliverable demonstrates these elements in action: mock-ups for the cards and posters, templates for the documents and presentations that are used throughout the consortium, making the Sage-and-Everyperson personality more than just a brand statement, but a usable tool.

The website: 7 sections for various audiences

The key element of the deliverable is the description of the main digital hub of the project, the EnduRAI website (www.endurai.eu). The site communicates EnduRAI’s vision, technical approach and results to researchers, industrial partners and the general public in a clear and accessible manner and is organized into seven main sections:

  • Home: presents EnduRAI as “the next step in human-centric augmentation technologies to transform Europe’s manufacturing industries”, and begins with the project’s manifesto: Technology to the worker. It showcases 6 key actions: Improving wearables, HMI adaptation, Industry trials, Commercialisation, Ethics, and Multi modal AI, and Consortium facts (9 partners, 7 countries) and an overview of upcoming news.
  • About: detailed information on the project’s objectives and approach.
  • Pilots: industrial use cases and pilot sites for validation of the technology.
  • Team: Consortium and Participating Partners presentation.
  • Knowledge Hub: access to publications and project results.
  • News: Activities and updates of the project.
  • Contact: contact information, including a public project email address.

It is designed to be accessible to a simple visitor who will understand EnduRAI within seconds, while also being detailed enough for an industrial partner or researcher to get into the team or the knowledge outputs, or even the pilots.

Social media, video and open access

In addition to the website, EnduRAI’s presence on social media, such as LinkedIn, X and Bluesky (also featured in the document), serves as a means to amplify the project’s news and activities. It also gives an overview of a video repository for outreach and audiovisual materials, and an open access repository, which is used by EnduRAI to fulfill the European Commission’s open access mandate on publicly funded research outcomes.

All these channels are intended as one communication system and the website is intended to serve as the hub connecting them with social media, video and open access repositories, and future project newsletters.
